What is Wheel-Blindness?

Wheel-Blindness is a serious (but entirely made-up) condition that impairs a car owner's ability to recognise just how bad their wheels look.

Common symptoms include:

• Staring lovingly at your car and somehow not noticing the 17” stock alloys from 2006.

• Believing that “wheels don’t really matter.”

• Using the phrase “I’ll upgrade them eventually” for the 17th consecutive year.

• In rare cases, convincing yourself that curbed wheels add “character.”

Left untreated, Wheel-Blindness can lead to severe cases of automotive mediocrity. It's tragic. And preventable.

Some people have been swayed by the following so-called "homeopathetic" remedies against wheel-blindness, but we have news for you:

Spacers aren't a cure.
Sure they may help hide the symptoms a little, or allow you to say you aren't a victim because "you did something to the wheels",  but no one is fooled.

Painting your stock wheels black doesn't count.
This is the sort of thing that happens if wheel blindness is left unchecked and untreated for too long. Believing that painting your stock wheels another colour is somehow the same as changing your wheels is a common sign things are bad. It isn't the same, its a desperate cry for help..
